South Dakota Public Broadcasting (SDPB) is run by the South Dakota Bureau of Information and Telecommunications, and started on 5th July 1961 from Vermillion (as KUSD-TV). It is broadcast across several other stations around the state.

It showed Doctor Who between 1986 and 1989, and then the first series with Christopher Eccleston in 2007 and 2008, though they didn't continue with the series after their rights to the first expired in 2009.
