BBC Lifestyle and BBC HD have now been withdrawn and are no longer available in the Nordics. BBC Brit and BBC Earth, however, will remain available to our Nordic audiences.

BBC Worldwide is committed to bringing focused and relevant content to our audiences. Since 2013 we’ve redesigned and enhanced our portfolio and have introduced our new global branded channels, BBC Brit, BBC Earth and BBC First internationally.

Following the successful launch of BBC Brit and BBC Earth in the Nordics we have taken the decision to cease transmission of BBC Lifestyle and BBC HD. The decision to remove these channels has been a lengthy process and a difficult choice to make; but we are excited about our new genre channels and what they have to offer our audiences.

Quality BBC content will continue to be seen in the Nordics – many other programmes are available on BBC Brit and BBC Earth as well as other channels, both terrestrial and cable, and also digitally.
