BBCI http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/ has announced a schedule for webcasting another new Doctor Who story. Real Time, a 6th Doctor story guest-starring the Cybermen, will air as 6 10 minute episodes starting Friday 2 August. 1 episode will go online each Friday. Each episode will be available illustrated for people with faster internet connections, like Death Comes To Time was. Real Time is produced by Big Finish, the company that makes 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Doctor audios for CD release, along with Bernice Summerfield and Sarah Jane Smith CDs. Colin Baker will be playing the 6th Doctor. |

Pittsburgh Doctor Who fans - take note. The WQED/WQEX simulcast will be ending soon after close to 5 years. WQED 13 http://www.wqed.org/ has finally gotten permission from the FCC to sell WQEX 16 to a commercial broadcaster. WQEX will probably change its call letters and start its own schedule later this year. So, if you have chosen to watch Doctor Who on WQEX 16, you will soon need to remember to tune in to WQED 13. If you always watch the show on WQED 13 anyway, you won't notice a change. |
While I try to keep the column up to day, I do sometimes miss late changes to schedules. If you see TWIDW's information getting out of synch with what your local station is actually airing, let me know ASAP. |

Sun The Ribos Operation all 4 pts After some strong-arming by the White Guardian, the 4th Doctor and new companion Romana begin a quest for the segments of the Key To Time. The first segment is hidden on the planet Ribos, where two rogues are engaged in a daring plot to make money selling a planet they don't own to an insane military commander. Mon-Tue Robot pts 1 - 2 of 4 Newly regenerated, the 4th Doctor (Tom Baker) is a man whose identity is still in flux. But mysterious robberies and murders will not wait - UNIT needs the Doctor, whether he likes it or not. |
