Tele 5, owned by Polcast Television, launched on 19th April 2002, replacing channel Super 1. It shows European and Canadian programmes, in English with Polish Lektor.

Doktor Who was one of its first acquisitions, kicking off on the 20th April. However, stories were not shown in any particular order, taken from the first two seasons of Tom Baker, with 2002 showing some 26 episodes at weekends and 2003 showing 20 (believed to be exclusively Season 12 in broadcast order) on weekdays. As the station listings did not indicate which episode was broadcast it isn't clear exactly what was shown when!
