Uniseries was created in 1993 as the first station in Argentina dedicated to cult classic series, operated by Imagen Satelital. In 2003 the company was acquired by Claxson Interactive Group Latin America & Iberia del Grupo Cisneros, who replaced the channel with one named RETRO from the 1st March. However, some six years later the channel was closed down completely on 1st April 2009.
