It is with great excitement KPTS in Wichita, KS will be showing Season 13 of Classic Doctor Who, although in a format different from before. Channel 8 is purchasing the season in serial format, so you'll be able to enjoy the 4th Doctor and his trusty companion, Sarah Jane Smith in bite-sized half-hour episodes instead of the omnibus formats which can sometimes go on for 2-1/2 hours. The season will air twice beginning in June and will run through July 2015. Each episode will start at 9pm (and following another great BBC show, Doc Martin airing at 8pm, beginning in July). Here is the tentative schedule of episodes for 2014.

While waiting for the new series featuring Peter Capaldi, Doctor Who fans in the area of Wichita, KS, USA can enjoy classic episodes to tide them over. For the first time in nearly 20 years, KPTS Channel 8 is proud to announce 6 stories are set to air twice between March and May this year. The stories (in story format) and air dates are as follows:

March 7th’s program will be presented for PBS pledge. Each other story will feature a short introduction by the local fan club “The Whovians of Wichita”. KPTS encourages local fans to help support the program by pledging toward the series. The phone number for KPTS is 316-838-3090.
