Torchwood This Week
March 28, 2009 - Vol 3, No 13
The weekly guide to Torchwood transmissions.
by Benjamin F. Elliott
France - SciFi France is repeating Series 1 and 2. Thanks to Gerard for the
informatino and much of their schedule - their website does not seem to be aware
that you need to know when a show is airing if you plan to watch or record it.
This would be fine if you were a bunch of streaming video - the viewer signs on
and picks a show to see. But when you have a linear schedule, people need the
linear information. No matter how much people believe that all programmes will
be on demand in the future and time slots will disappear, they clearly have not
disappeared yet.
Bit of a broken record, but the BBC has not committed to a date to air the third
Series of Torchwood. To be fair, they are not willing to commit to a date to air
the next Doctor Who episode (Planet Of The Dead), and the assumption is that the
Who episode will air in about 2 weeks.
Doctor Who schedule information is in This Week In Doctor Who .
