Paste that link into your browser if it doesn't come through right.
It's an official promotional postcard for the new series. Looks
rather nice in my opinion. It's got Christopher Eccleston, Billie
Piper, the TARDIS, the new logo, a link to the BBC's Doctor Who
website - , and other nice images.
Sci-Fi Overdrive is noting the 41st
anniversary of Doctor Who by focusing the 3rd hour of each episode
in November on the series. This week Charles Martin interviews
Doctor Who actors who are on the Sci-Fi Sea Cruise as of this
column's publication. This week's edition also has an interview with
Laura Palmer at BBC Worldwide Americas in the first hour discussing
the Lost In Time DVD release. From the same people - the new
American Who episode is online, with a
Peter Purves interview and an affectionate look at the new Doctor
Who logo.
DirecTV subscribers in the Cedar Rapids, IA TV market now have the option of subscribing to their local channels through the service, including KIIN 12, an Iowa Public TV affiliate. A 2nd dish is required to get those local channels. It now means that viewers in that area can see Doctor Who via their antennas, cable, and both of the major satellite companies (Dish Network ). The Quad Cities in Iowa & Illinois are tentatively expected to get local channels through DirecTV as of November 9.
