Iowa Public TV http://www.iptv.org/ is just 10 days away from its BBV night, titled "Doctor Who Celebration". The Airzone Solution and Auton will get their Iowa premiere on this pledge night, tentatively running from 9 to 11:30PM. |

UKTV - Doctor Who's cable home in Australia from 1996 to 2002 - will have a marathon hosted by Katy Manning on Saturday 11 October, along with an as yet unspecified event on Sunday 23 November at 8:30PM. For the October marathon, the stories will be: An Unearthly Child, The War Games, The Three Doctors, Planet of the Spiders, The Deadly Assassin, Logopolis, The Five Doctors, The Caves of Androzani, The Two Doctors, The Trial Of A Time Lord: The Ultimate Foe, Survival, Doctor Who (1996 TV Movie) |

KERA 13 http://www.kera.org/ Dallas, TX has a lot of Doctor Who fans in its viewing audience. Well, they had a lot of Doctor Who fans. KERA pulled the 6th Doctor stories off their schedule at the last minute 2 weeks ago, and I missed the change in last week's column. 90 minute Mystery! episodes have been airing in Doctor Who's timeslot (late Friday 12:30AM) all month. Last month KERA canceled a pledge drive for The Caves of Androzani at the last minute too. The Doctor has been taken off the schedule for late Friday September 26 a couple of days ago. We'll keep an eye on KERA's schedule going into October, to see if Doctor Who returns in a new time period. Thanks to everyone who alerted me to this situation - this is the biggest reaction I have seen to a schedule change in the history of this column. |

ABC Australia devoted their Monday evening show "New Dimensions with George Negus" to Doctor Who and Who fandom this past Monday. There were classic clips from the series, a Tom Baker appearance in Australia, and more. Reaction from Australian fans online to the special was favorable. |
