Confusion in New Zealand as Prime TV makes schedule changes. After The Horns of Nimon finishes on Thursday, 7 June, Doctor Who is being pulled from the lineup. Conflicting stories are emerging. Is it only being rested for 2 to 3 weeks as they catch their breath from airing too many episodes earlier this year? Is it taking a winter vacation while Blake's 7 airs? Is it being canceled completely due to anemic ratings since moving to 6PM? (Whether it's being canceled, suspended, or just rested, the show has suffered in the ratings since going against the 6PM news.) The facts should emerge within the next few days. New Zealand fans should check and that site's forum section every day or so for updates.
(According to the most recent message on the board at the tetrap site before this column went out, Blake's 7 goes into the 6PM timeslot on Prime TV beginning Thursday, 21 June. This rules out the 2 to 3 week rest, unless the show comes back in a different time slot.)
Dallas, TX Doctor Who - KERA 13 updated their web listings last week to show that the weekly Doctor Who episodes will begin airing Friday, June 1st. 2 episodes a week, beginning at Midnight. Time to alert your friends and learn how to program the VCR.
Last week I managed to have inaccurate information for both Pennsylvania stations. WQED/WQEX 13,16 Pittsburgh aired City of Death episodes 3+4 on the 12th, where I had it down as pre-empted, while Doctor Who was pre-empted on the 19th, where I had those City of Death episodes listed. WYBE 35 in Philadelphia added a special Doctor Who broadcast to their lineup late Saturday without much notice. Frontios episodes 3+4 aired at Midnight Saturday night after WYBE pledge specials. WYBE will also air Doctor Who at Midnight this Saturday.
Due to production problems, most of the story descriptions were not written this week.
Additions and corrections are welcome at bfelliott@... , bfelliott@... , or bfelliott3 on AOL IM. And now, the listings:

Sun 7AM, Late Sun 1AM AEST Underworld all 4 eps
Doctor Who remakes a Greek myth - Jason and the Argonauts. Sneaky historical references and dodgy special effects are expected to occur. Admittedly, the Greek myth didn't have a spaceship crashing into the heart of a young planet, but you can't expect the Greeks to think of everything.
Mon-Wed 11:30PM AEST The Power of Kroll eps 2 - 4 of 4
Kroll is coming. Kroll is coming. Do a little dance, sing a little song, get a little eaten. But where could the 5th segment of the Key To Time be.
Thu-Fri 11:30PM AEST The Armageddon Factor eps 1 - 2 of 6
The Doctor, Romana, and K9 arrive on a world in the middle of a devastating war. Not only does there seem to be no sign of the 6th segment of the Key To Time, but people seem to be mistaking K9 for potential scrap metal.

Special late start time. A time corridor leads the TARDIS to 1985, where Daleks and duplicate humans are endangering the populace. Viewer advisory - this story was written by Eric "kill- them-all" Saward. If you do not like this, it may be a tad - violent. If you like violence, pop open a smile.
