THIS WEEK IN DOCTOR WHO - Fri, 10 Sep 1999
By Benjamin F. Elliott
As mentioned in the last column, BCB Cable Radio / Real Audio is airing The Who Review, a monthly show devoted to Doctor Who. In the column, I listed the old broadcast time - 1st Monday of the month at 1PM British Time (12PM GMT, 8AM EDT, 5AM PDT). However, BCB had moved its broadcast to the 1st Tuesday of the month (same airing times). Worse, when people clicked on the real audio feed on Tuesday, they got error messages. BCB Radio's real audio server crashed, and 'The Who Review' was among the shows that aired while it was down.

So, BCB has announced a rerun broadcast for their show. It will rerun at 12:45PM British Time (11:45AM GMT) Friday. This column goes out around Noon British Time, so I expect this notice will be too late for most people to tune the station in, but you never know. Also, BCB is going to offer transcripts of this broadcast to people who are unable to hear it. To get a transcript, you need to contact Tim Moon, the show's presenter, at . The next installment should air Tuesday, 5 October.
UK Gold is going to resume airing the Black & White Doctor Who installments in October. They will begin at 12:30AM late Fridays (5 minutes later than they were airing before they were pulled). The first Black & White story show will be The Web Planet, picking up where they left off in August.
Additions and corrections are welcome. And now, the schedules:

Fri 12:45PM BST (7:45AM EDT, 4:45AM PDT) The Who Review September 1999 edition (rerun)
Scheduled: an interview with Big Finish about the Doctor Who audios, and a review of Doctor Who and The Curse Of Fatal Death.

This ending almost joined the 109 missing episodes shortly afterwards due to an accident.
