Peter Davison takes over as the 5th Doctor. The Doctor's regeneration begins to fail, forcing him to retreat to the Zero Room to recover. The Doctor needs plenty of time to relax. Naturally, the Master takes the opportunity to redirect the TARDIS towards certain heat death.
