The 4th Doctor is sent on a mission to seek-locate-destroy. He must find the Daleks at the point of their creation, figure out if it is possible to alter their nature into less aggressive creatures. If it is not possible to change the Daleks, then they must be wiped out of time and space, altering much of history.

The Doctor and Sarah return to Earth, but England is mostly abandoned. Well, one person falls off a cliff and keeps moving. But otherwise, very few people.
