Watch the annoucnement of the next Doctor live.
This timeslot was originally listed as the first part of a 60m repeat of The Eleventh Hour; whether this was the intention or just a subterfuge like the UK's Celebrity Mastermind to hide the live show is unknown, but once all had been revealed on the morning of Friday 2nd August, BBC America updated their schedule to reflect this, with a repeat of Doctor Who Revisited afterwards - though they placed another showing of The Doctors Revisited: The First Doctor in this timeslot to begin with by mistake!
