The TARDIS suffers a power drain and is forced down on the planet Exxilon. Sarah is captured by the primitive inhabitants and the Doctor comes face to face with his oldest enemies.

Broadcast notes:

Intro: Suppose you were told that your TARDIS is in Exxilon. Would you find a new astrologist? Of course not, you would be Doctor Who, looking for the antidote to a plague that will, unstopped, kill every living thing in the galaxy. And even if you were to find the antidote, you would also find in your path a savagely hostile and degenerate race, and The Daleks. Well, The Doctor is not alone. He does have his helpers: Sarah and a friendly mutant. And who knows? That just may be enough to bring "Death to the Daleks."

Outro: It has been fifty years since The Doctor has visited Peladon and, wouldn't you know it, the spirit of the sacred monster Aggedor is again spreading terror and death throughout the planet. And that isn't the worst of it: the trisilicate mines are occupied by the Ice Warriors. Join us next Sunday night at 11 for "The Monster of Peladon." Perhaps by then The Doctor will have figured out a course of action. [source: ChicagoEpguides]
