The weekend of 21/22 Nov 1993 saw a Doctor Who Weekend on UK Gold to celebrate the 30th Anniversary. Activities over the weekend included the chance to win a TARDIS cabinet complete with videos, and a phone-in for viewers to vote for their favourites (winner in bold): Doctor: Jon Pertwee (Spearhead from Space), Tom Baker (Warrior's Gate), Peter Davison (Kinda), Sylvester McCoy (The Curse of Fenric) Companion: Day of the Daleks (Jo Grant), The Time Warrior (Sarah), Horror of Fang Rock (Leela), The Horns of Nimon (K-9) Monster: Earthshock (Cybermen), Silurians/Sea Devils (Warriors of the Deep), The Two Doctors (Sontarans), Remembrance of the Daleks (Daleks)
The weekend would have been notable for a scheduled repeat of The Tenth Planet: Episode 3, though in the end it was dropped in favour of Logopolis: Part Four!
